November 13, 2008

(Clinton, AR – November, 2008) It’s time again for the 5th Annual Ozark Health Foundation Festival of Hope and Lights.  This year the Festival is made up of three events and the lighting of Luminaries at the Ozark Health Medical Center.  The first event of the Festival of Hope and Lights is the “Puttin’ on the Glitz” Luncheon on November 22 which will be held at the Clinton Senior Center beginning at 11:30 a.m.  The Luncheon will feature lunch from Market Place Grill in Conway and a Gala Attire Fashion Show that is full of elegance, laughs, and Gala Attire and Accessories from area businesses.  Tickets for the Luncheon are $25 and can be purchased at Faye’s Diamond Mine in the Northside Shopping Center, The Sweet Shoppe in Fairfield Bay, or from Tawny at the Ozark Health Foundation Office.

The second event of the Festival of Hope and Lights is the Winter Princess Extravaganza which gives every little girl a chance to walk down a red carpet and be Princess for a night. Princesses are crowned by their Prince Charming or escort of choice with a beautiful tiara made only for a Princess.  Registration forms for the Winter Princess Extravaganza can be picked up at the Ozark Health Medical Center front desk or from Tawny at the Ozark Health Foundation Office.

The signature and final event of the Festival of Hope and Lights is the Gala held at the Indian Hills Country Club in Fairfield Bay on December 13.  The Gala is the only black tie event of this size in the area and features a silent auction, dinner prepared by the Indian Hills Chef, and a live auction featuring a variety of items from sports memorable to vacations.  All money raised the Gala is used to fund scholarships provided by the Ozark Health Foundation. Tickets for the Gala are $100 and can be purchased at Faye’s Diamond Mine in the Northside Shopping Center, The Sweet Shoppe in Fairfield Bay, or from Tawny at the Ozark Health Foundation Office.

Added to the Festival of Hope and Lights this year is the lighting of the Luminaries at the Ozark Health Medical Center beginning on December 3.  The Luminaries are on sale for $10 and can be purchased In Honor or In Memory of a special loved one.  The names of each person whom a Luminary is purchased for will be on display in the Hospital Lobby throughout the Holiday season.  To purchase tickets, Luminaries, or just get additional information about any of the Festival of Hope and Lights Events call Tawny at 501-745-7004 ext. 106.
