First Community Bank Promotes Dickey And Wyatt

First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of two members of the information technology department.

Dwayne Dickey has been promoted to senior vice president, information technology director. With nearly 35 years of professional experience in banking and information technology, Dickey has previously served First Community as vice president, information systems manager. Dickey is stepping into the leadership position recently vacated by longtime First Community Bank employee Karl Kemp. Kemp retired in March of this year.

In his new role, Dickey will oversee all information technology operations as well as the management, strategy and execution of the IT infrastructure for the bank.  This will include overseeing technical projects and directing the effective delivery of networks, development and disaster recovery systems and processes. He and his wife, Suzanne, have two children, Kyler, 24, and Brendan, 19. When he is not working, Dickey enjoys running and spending time with family.

“Being a part of the First Community Bank family for the last eight years has been a privilege. I truly value the guidance provided by Karl Kemp and the support I received from the entire IT department, the leadership team, and my coworkers,” said Dickey. “Our ability to work so well together as a team provides the foundation for our future growth and success as a department and will in turn result in a positive impact on the bank and our customers.”

“During his tenure, Dwayne has consistently demonstrated the same core values and unwavering integrity that First Community Bank holds for its organization,” said Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer of First Community Bank. “We look forward to advancing our technology efforts under his leadership.”

Jennifer Wyatt has been promoted to vice president, information security risk officer. Wyatt joined the bank in 2015, and has previously served as information technology administrative assistant and most recently as assistant vice president, information security. She is a United States Air Force veteran and previously worked in military intelligence with a focus on global security and procedure development. Wyatt obtained her education from Metropolitan State University of Denver and completed Information Technology Management School from the Graduate School of Banking (GSB). She has three children, Isaac, 16, Ashton, 12, and Elijah, 5.

“I’m excited to continue my journey with First Community Bank and take on my new role as vice president, information security risk officer, while continuing to enhance the bank’s overall security procedures and training,” said Wyatt.

“I am confident that Jennifer will continue to strengthen and evolve our overall security and risk management programs to support our continued growth,” said Michelle Reesor, executive vice president, director of risk management for First Community Bank. “A key element of Jennifer’s role will be working with management to evaluate and determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization with the goal of ensuring that information assets are adequately protected.”
