Folk Festival Open House in the Craft Village

Food, music, gardens, talks, tours and so much more make up the Ozark Folk Center State Park.
The Ozark Folk Center State Park Craft Village will be celebrating Folk Festival with an Open House on Friday and Saturday, April 15 & 16. During the Open House there is no admission charge. The Village will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Park in the lower parking lot and visit the General Store and Visitor Center then ride the free shuttle to the entrance of the Craft Village. Take a few minutes in the Homespun Gift Shop to see the wide selection of handcrafted items made in Arkansas.

“The Craft Village is especially beautiful this spring. The Heritage Herb Gardens are blooming gloriously all along the walkways,” said Jeanette Larson, Craft Director. “The Ozark Folk Center Crafts people have spent the winter creating lots of new treasures. Many of them have a touch of cabin fever and they are so looking forward to talking with all of you when you come to visit during the Open House.”

The Smokehouse, in the craft village offers sandwiches; fried pies and ice cream, if you would like a sit down meal go to the Skillet Restaurant for some southern style home cooking.

The Craft Village is open Tuesday- Saturday from 10 to 5 from March 29 through November 26, 2016. Regular Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for children 6-12. Children under 6 are free.
