Former MMA Star Pat Smith set to challenge Bad Boys Kendrick Releford in Batesville

Kendrick Releford prepares to put an end to ex-MMA star Pat Smith’s boxing days. Pat Smith, who has fought the likes of Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie, and has recently defeated Butterbean will be in Batesville June 13th to take an eight round boxing match vs. Kendrick Releford at the National Guard Armory.  Releford says, he is prepared to go eight rounds, but will take the knockout if it presents itself. Kendrick has never fought a MMA fighter before and has not yet seen Pat Smith in action, but is confident in a victory.  If Releford is successful in this match against Smith and looks impressive, we could see him fighting for a world title in the not so distant future.  Pat Smith on the other hand has fought a number of legendary UFC fighters and fought several world ranked boxers, and is prepared for the challenge.  Brandon Foster, promoter of the event says, “We are looking for a good turn out and believe Kendrick Releford will be able to use his natural boxing ability to put on a good showing vs.
the naturally bigger Smith.”
Foster says, “ We not only have a great main event but we have a great undercard in store as well, with local fighters such as, Tyler Osbourne, April Ward, Josh Bridges, Brad Welch, Mike Wagenblast, and Hunter Limbaugh.” It is a must-see event! Tickets are on sale now ranging from $15 to $50 at Hastings or by calling (870)613-1649.
