Location: located north of Heber Springs, Arkansas on Hwy. 25 at the west end of Greers Ferry Dam
Description: The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers’ William Carl Garner Visitor Center has partnered with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to bring a Free Fly-Tying Seminar to Heber Springs, Arkansas,Thursday May 31 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Jimmy Barnett, Coordinator of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’ Aquatic Resources Education Program will be hosting this seminar for persons age 12 and older. Students will learn basic fly tying principals and will learn how to tie a “Wooly Booger”. There must be a minimum of 5 people signed up by 2 days before the seminar or the seminar will be cancelled.
