Freedom Warriors Riding Association of Arkansas, Inc.

A new non-profit organization has been formed in our area. The name  is Freedom Warriors RA of Arkansas, Inc. P.O.  Box 1777, Searcy, AR. 72135.  The Mission of Freedom Warriors Riding Association of Arkansas,  Inc. is to provide awareness, informational assistance and work  with all Veterans, their families, Veteran Organizations for the needs  of those Veterans. Our goal is to serve and bring awareness to a broad  spectrum of Veteran issues such as Suicide Prevention, PTSD, Homeless  Issues, Gold Star Mothers and POW-MIAs. Membership in the Association  is free until 9-1-13.

Freedom Warriors had their first official event Saturday June 29 in Pangburn raising the POW-MIA Flag at the Pangburn Veterans Memorial.   19 members of the Association were in attendance including President  Jeff Roland, Vice President Cris Muirhead and Chairman of the Board  Tommy McMahon, and Mayor Todd Slayton.  President Roland presented  Mayor Slayton with the previous flag. Mayor Slayton will present the  flag to the Pangburn Museum.   The Freedom Warriors will also  participate in the Pangburn 4th of July Parade.  The  Association will be raising a new American Flag and an POW-MIA Flag  in the Pangburn City Park that day. The public is invited and encouraged  to attend.
