Fulton County Heritage Foundation

The Fulton County Heritage Foundation will sponsor two interior clean-up and repair days in March at the Old Main campus on Oak and North streets in Salem. The foundation is renovating Old Main for community use and has scheduled an all-classSalem High School reunion on Saturday, May 24. All graduates and friends of Salem High School are invited to attend.

The clean-up and repair days will be Saturday, March 8, and Saturday, March 15, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Old Main auditorium. Volunteers are needed to help repair and prep interior walls for painting and for general cleaning, floor work and other renovation activities. Lunch will be available.

Classrooms and space in the building are available for adoption by civic organizations, school clubs and church groups. Groups may arrange to volunteer as their schedules permit. For more information on the Old Main renovation project or to schedule a volunteer group, contact Deborah Bost, building and grounds chair, at (870) 895-3200.

There will be a meeting of the Salem High School All-Class Reunion Planning Committee on Monday, March 10, at 5:30 p.m. at the White River Area Agency on Aging in Salem. Anyone interested in helping to plan the reunion is welcome to attend.

The next meeting of the Fulton County Heritage Foundation Board of Directors is Monday, March 17, at 5:30 p.m., in the Old Main conference room in Salem. Everyone is invited.
