Searcy, ARK. – A “Car wash will be held in honor of Christine Clemons, a Searcy-area child who needs a Lung transplant. The event is planned for Sat, Aug 29 at 1100 E Race In front of the old A&W. 18 month-old Christine is listed for a lung transplant at St, Louis Childerns Hospital in St,Louis Missouri. Funds are being raised to assist with her transplant-related expenses.
Body Map & Squeaky Clean Detailing will host a car wash fundraiser for Christine Clemons. Location will be at 11100 E Race St. (In front of the old A&W). DATE & TIME will be Saturday Aug. 29 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. They will be selling BBQ sandwiches, chips and drinks for donations of $5 or more and

Christine was diagnosed with Pulmonary Vain Stenosis. The Clemons family needs an estimated $75,000 to pay their transplant-related expenses.

Christine’s family has asked for assistance from the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA), a national charity based in Bloomington, Indiana. COTA is dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-needy patients. COTA’s services are completely free of charge and 100% of funds generated by COTA community fundraising campaigns are available for transplant-related expenses.
