GED/Adult Education Classes Offered at Midland Elementary

The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville Adult Education Department is partnering with Midland Elementary School to offer classes in Floral on Mondays from 3-5 p.m. in the computer lab on the elementary campus.

Instruction in academic areas such as reading, math, writing, and computer literacy skills will be available to meet a variety of student needs. The class is designed for adults who need a high school diploma, want to prepare for the Compass test to enroll in college, want to acquire a Career Readiness Certificate (CRC), or want to learn
computer literacy skills.

There will be some group instruction, individual study, and online study for those with Internet access. Each student will be assessed to determine current skill levels and an individual instruction plan will be developed to meet personal goals. All books and instruction will be provided free of charge.

Enrollment is open throughout the semester. Students must be age 18 and older and not currently enrolled in school.
