Title: Glass Bead Making Slide Show and Lecture Sept 10
Location: Arkansas Craft School Artisan Studio; located at 110 East Main Street, just off the Courthouse Square
Description: A slide lecture, Friday night, September 10, 2010 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Ozarka College in Mountain View. The slide show will be given by glass beadmaker, Tom Holland, and entitled “Beads Through the Ages”. The show will cover traditions from thousands of years of world-wide Glass Bead Making. This enlightening lecture will include images of ancient beads from museums and from private collections. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
The class will be in session from September 10 – September 12 at the Arkansas Craft School Artisan Studio; located at 110 East Main Street, just off the Courthouse Square.
