Melbourne – On August 9, Governor Mike Beebe announced his appointment of Izard County native, Jack Yancey, to the Ozarka College Board of Trustees. His appointed term will run through July 1, 2017. Yancey is co-owner of Freedom Ford in Melbourne. He and his wife, Margaret, reside in Brockwell. Yancey, who is an advocate for education, obtained his degree in Business Administration from Arkansas State University and graduated from the FBI National Academy. He states, “I am pleased with the appointment and look forward to assisting such a fine institution as Ozarka College in our community. Ozarka makes an impact on many people’s lives and our local economy and I am ready to work alongside the Administration and other board members to further that impact.”
