On Saturday, June 30th the Greers Ferry EMS Ambulance Service will hold a “Meet & Greet” get together at the Greers Ferry City Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is an opportunity for the general Greers Ferry population to see our new Ambulance enjoy free hot dogs, hamburgers, cookies and drinks provided by local merchants and find out how to volunteer to join our group. We are also expecting one or more of the air ambulance services to be on hand to explain their services and have people join them.
The Greers Ferry Ambulance unit is the only Arkansas EMS organization that provides its services completely free of charge to the public, whether residents or visitors. We rely solely on donations and grants to be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We are looking for additional members to volunteer and join our family of drivers, first responders and EMTs. We welcome all Greers Ferry area residents to come by, enjoy the refreshments and learn about what we do.
