We are taking time this week to celebrate Little Rock District, Rangers. Park Rangers play an integral role in the success of our organization. They have many duties that include but are not limited to patrolling parks, keeping visitors safe, teaching visitors about lakes and rivers, managing natural resources (prescribed burns, creating fish habitat, plant/water sampling, managing invasive species) enforcing rules and regulations, protecting cultural resources, and teaching visitors about water safety and life jackets. We are proud of our rangers and are thankful for all they do!
