Greers Ferry Lake/Little Red River Association Chili supper and silent auction Dec 9th

The Greers Ferry Lake/Little Red River Association will be having several fundraisers throughout the coming months in various cities of our region in order to promote the cleanup. The first will be a Chili supper and silent auction on December 9th at 6  p.m. The event will be held at the Clinton Community Center.

Free T-shirts and Door prizes will be given away at the event and the silent auction will have some awesome items, which would be great for that special person on your Christmas list. Some of the items include Branson, MO show tickets and a nights stay at the Crescent Hotel, in Eureka Springs, gift baskets from Riceland Rice and Bad Boy Mowers.

Local restaurants providing silent auction items includes KFC, Toga Moe Joes, Pizza Hut and Western Sizzlin. Other participating businesses include First Service Bank, Regions Bank, Bank of the Ozarks, Thriftway Foods, Clinton Radio Shack and Faye’s Diamond Mine.

A night of entertainment will also be on the agenda. Arkansas rock and soul sensation, Jason Greenlaw, from “Jason Greenlaw and the Groove,” will be performing a live acoustic show during the silent auction.

All proceeds of the benefit will go towards the Annual Greers Ferry Lake/ Little Red River Cleanup, to preserve and promote our area and the great things it has to offer.

Non-perishable food items will also be accepted to be donated to local food bank for the holidays.

Come on out and join us for some great food, entertainment and prizes. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support your area. Tickets are $5 at the door. We hope to see you there. For more information call the association office at 501-745-6101 or toll free 888-490-4357.
