Greers Ferry West Side Elementary and High School art exhibit at First Service Bank in Clinton through May 1st

Greers Ferry West Side Elementary and High School art students are being honored with an exhibition of their art work at First Service Bank in Clinton through May 1st.

 Sandy Smith has taught at West Side Elementary for 25 years.  She currently teaches K-3 Science and K-6 Art.  Her students’ work is displayed in the bank’s lobby.

 Paulette Rickert, is the West Side High School art teacher.  Her students’ art work is on display in the conference room.  This exhibit shows the use of the elements of line, color, and texture in both masks, woven wall hangings and relief sculptures.

 The students and their teachers will be honored with a reception at First Service Bank at 4:00 P.M. Friday, April 20th.  Parents and friends of the students are invited to attend.  The exhibit may be viewed anytime during banking business hours.  For further information contact (501)253-7909 NCAFA&E.
