Griffin: 56 Patriots Changed the Course of History

LITTLE ROCK – Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement in honor of Independence Day:

“236 years ago, 56 patriots signed their names to the Declaration of Independence and changed the course of history. With their signatures, and ‘a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence,’ they pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to the creation of this country. Since then, countless brave Americans have sacrificed and worked to build an exceptional nation — the greatest country in the history of the world. I wish everyone a blessed and safe Independence Day.”
