Griffin Announces Conway County Chairman

LITTLE ROCK – Second District Congressional candidate, U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin today named Ted Hutchcroft of Morrilton as the campaign’s Conway County Chairman.

As county chairman, Hutchcroft will lead the effort to organize and mobilize voters for Griffin.

“I am honored to have Ted’s support,” Griffin said. “He is deeply involved in his community, and I look forward to working with Ted to secure the vote of conservatives in Conway County.”

Hutchcroft is the Chairman of the Arkansas State Library Board, having been appointed by Governor Mike Huckabee, and is a State Committeeman for the Conway County Republican Committee.

“I want Tim Griffin representing my family in the United States Congress,” Hutchcroft said. “He is a conservative leader who will represent the common sense conservative values of Conway County, the Second District and Arkansas. I am proud to be working to elect someone who will stop Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s agenda, and I am asking all conservatives in Conway County to stand with Tim on election day.”

Hutchcroft came to Arkansas in 1986, working for Winrock International on Petit Jean Mountain. He is the former president of the Friends of the Conway County Library and was host for the library’s “Lunch and Learn” cable access program for eight years. Hutchcroft also frequently contributes stories to the Petit Jean Country Headlight.

Hutchcroft helped organize the Petit Jean Mountain Community Association in 1998 and is the editor of its quarterly newsletter, The Petit Jean Mountain-aire.
