Griffin Commemorates the Heroic Actions of Our Servicemembers on D-Day Anniversary

Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin today issued the following statement to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day:

“Today marks the 75th Anniversary of D-Day and serves as a reminder to us all of the great cost of freedom. The heroic actions and sacrifice of our brave servicemembers that stormed the beaches of Normandy helped bring an end to tyranny, liberate a continent, and change the course of history. We proudly remember those who served and those who paid the ultimate price to secure our freedom.”
