Griffin Names Two to Campaign Leadership

LITTLE ROCK – Second District Congressional candidate, U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin today named two Arkansans to head his campaign to unseat Congressman Vic Snyder, announcing Bryant Adams will serve as campaign manager and Ryan James as deputy campaign manager and communications director.

“I am pleased to announce two Arkansans to lead my grassroots campaign to represent Arkansas’s common sense conservative values.  Both Bryant and Ryan are proud Arkansans who understand our wonderful state and its people,” said Griffin.

Adams was a field director in Arkansas and Colorado for the Bush-Cheney ’04 presidential campaign, and previously served at the Republican National Committee and Department of Homeland Security.  A political science and history major at Ouachita Baptist University, Adams most recently served as the political affairs manager at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and as a consultant for corporate and political clients.

“I am honored to help elect Tim to represent the 2nd District.  I believe the Natural State should be represented by someone like Tim who shares our Arkansas values,” said Adams.

James was part of the regional press operation at McCain-Palin 2008 headquarters in Virginia after serving as deputy director of communications for the 2008 Republican National Convention.  Prior to that, he served as communications director for Third District Rep. John Boozman (R-AR).  Previously, James served as campaign manager for Conrad Reynolds’ U.S. Senate campaign. After studying communications at Arkansas State University, James went on to serve in management and news production roles at local television stations in Arkansas and Texas.

“I am excited about the opportunity to work with Tim.  The people of Central Arkansas need someone who will work for them in Congress, not against them.  I believe Tim is the person to do just that because he shares our common sense conservative values,” said James.
