Griffin Raises $621,474 In 3rd Quarter in Congressional Race

Second District Congressional candidate, U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin today announced his campaign’s official campaign finance totals for the third quarter of 2010: $621,474 raised with $701,837 cash-on-hand.

The official totals exceeded estimated totals released on October 1 and came close to doubling his second quarter fundraising efforts.

Since entering the race in September 2009, Griffin has raised a total of $1,575,817.

“I am grateful for the support of Arkansas Republicans, Democrats and Independents who have been so generous to our campaign to elect common sense leadership to Congress. Their support has allowed us to communicate our positive, issue-based message of private sector job creation and getting our fiscal house in order to every neighborhood, city and county of the Second District,” Griffin said.

Griffin added, “We will continue to build our financial and grassroots support through the last days of this campaign – reaching out to voters who want a check and balance to the job-killing, debt-raising agenda of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Obama.”
