Griffin Testifies for Office Budget that Cuts Spending by Over 15%, Reduces Staff Slots by 25%

LITTLE ROCK – Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin issued the following statement regarding his testimony in favor of his budget for the Office of Lieutenant Governor:

 “Today, I testified for my budget for the Office of Lieutenant Governor to the Joint Budget Committee that reduces my overall budget by over 15%, a savings of over $62,000, and reduces the number of staff slots in the Office of Lieutenant Governor by 25%. The reorganization focuses on better serving Arkansans and reflects my responsibility to do more, spend less.”
