Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement regarding today’s announcement that Little Rock’s own Welspun Tubular would be adding 200 additional employees:
“Welspun’s announcement is great news for Arkansas. Given the recent setbacks and layoffs that resulted from the President’s decision to kill the Keystone XL pipeline, I am glad Welspun has decided to expand its small-diameter piping operation and create 200 new jobs. Hopefully, the Keystone XL pipeline will be approved quickly, and even more jobs can be created for hardworking Arkansans.”
