Harding University approved to administer online Praxis tests

In November, the Harding University Testing Office will offer computer-delivered Praxis tests for the first time after receiving approval from the Educational Testing Service.

As a Praxis computer-based provider, the Testing Office will offer Praxis I- Reading, Writing, & Mathematics by appointment on Monday through Saturday. Students will have the option of a morning or afternoon session for testing.  Additional Praxis II tests will be available in the Testing Office throughout the year on scheduled dates provided by ETS. This information as well as test fees may be found on the Praxis website at www.ets.org/praxis. Students will continue to register for the Praxis I and II exams through the Educational Testing Service. The Harding University Testing Office information will be listed on Nov. 7.

“We continually look for ways to better serve the needs of our students,” Tina Gould, director of testing said. “I believe the flexibility of the new computer-based Praxis testing will be a great benefit to our students here at Harding and look forward to this opportunity.”
