On Sunday, 11-11 at 11am. our local American Legion Post 64 and others will have their yearly Veterans Day ceremony in Spring Park.
The Cleburne County Historical Society will be opening their doors on that same Sunday from 11-3:30pm for all to stop by and see their presentation for the WWI Centennial (100 years) and rest of their military displays.
At 3pm that afternoon, Unit 64 American Legion Auxiliary will hold their closing ceremony
for the “Field of Heroes” at the Main St. Courthouse. Once the ceremony is finished you can retrieve your flag(s), ribbon and certificate.
This year the Daisy Patch Quilters will present a Quilt of Valor to eight Veterans at the closing ceremony of “Field of Heroes”.
Bring a lawn chair and join Cleburne County on Sunday November 11th to remember our Veterans and other heroes.
