Heber Springs World Championship Cardboard Boat Races Postponed until 2021

The Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce has made the decision to postpone the World Championship Cardboard Boat Races until the summer of 2021. Several factors were considered in making the decision, including high lake levels and restrictions that would be required to comply with COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. It is believed that this is the best decision to protect the residents, visitors, staff, and volunteers, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Plans for the Cardboard Boat Races to come back bigger and better in 2021!  The boat races will still have a “Video Games” theme.

While Heber Springs World Championship Cardboard Boat Races have been Postponed until 2021, Heber Springs is still open for business! Experience great food at local restaurants, take a stroll downtown, and visit the local shops throughout town. From antique shops to specialty stores to home décor, there is something for everyone.
