IMPACT Independence County and Independence County Library Joint Announcement June 7

(Batesville, AR)—The IMPACT Independence County Steering Committee and the Independence County Library have partnered to make a joint announcement to the public. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7 at 5:15 p.m. on the lawn of the Independence County Courthouse at 192 E. Main St. in Batesville. The event will include the reveal of the IMPACT strategic pan document and a special announcement from the Independence County Library Board.

“The IMPACT strategic plan was developed b the citizens of Independence County. As a community, we have worked hard to develop the plan and are proud to present the finished product,” said Crystal Johnson, Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO. “The IMPACT plan includes goals and objectives involving the Independence County Library, and so partnering with them for this announcement was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the success of the library and IMPACT.”

Independence County Library Director Vanessa Adams said of the event: “I am thrilled that the library is going to be part of the IMPACT plan for Independence County. We are dedicated to giving our citizens a new, much-deserved library, and partnering with the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce will secure this goal and enhance the quality of life for so many.” All members of the community are encouraged to attend.
