Construction work on Interstate 530 in Jefferson County requires a traffic shift, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, the traffic shifts will begin Wednesday, January 31 at 1:00 p.m. beginning at mile marker 44 and ending at mile marker 46 until the improvements are complete.
To allow for improvements of the I-530 northbound lanes, northbound traffic will be shifted onto the southbound lanes, resulting in one lane of southbound traffic and one lane of northbound traffic.
