Location: at the Izard County Senior Citizen’s Center on Highway 9 south of Brockwell, AR
Description: The Izard County Historical and Genealogical Society will meet on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Izard County Senior Citizen’s Center on Highway 9 south of Brockwell for their fall quarterly meeting. The annual meeting will hear reports from committee chairmen and the yearly election and installation of officers for 2012 will be conducted.
Jana Cowgill will give some history of the Hall family who settled in Izard County in the I800’s
The Cowgill Family of Dolph, descendants of this early Hall family, will be the entertainment for the meeting by singing Southern Gospel Music. This talented family sings in programs for many different organization and church services throughout the area.
