Wife, mother, speaker, writer and blogger, Jen lives and serves in Austin, Texas. She and her husband, Brandon, started Austin New Church in 2007 where they carry out the mission: Love Your Neighbor, Serve Your City. After three kids of their own, they felt the call towards adoption. In 2010, she and Brandon adopted two children from Ethiopia, making them a family of seven. A new television show on HGTV slated for 2014 is in the works as well. Her writings include the books: 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess, Interrupted, A Modern Girl’s Guide to Bible Study, Ms. Understood: Rebuilding the Feminine Equation and Out of the Spin Cycle.
For women of all ages and all seasons of life, Scandalous Grace with Jen Hatmaker will be Friday-Saturday, February 21-22, 2014 at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock.
