Junior Auxiliary of Searcy Scholarship Opportunity

The Searcy Junior Auxiliary will be awarding two scholarship each in the amount of $1,500.  The Mary Beth Chapman/Marilyn Club Scholarship and the Dottie Corder Scholarship will be awarded to one female and one male Searcy High School applicant.  Applications are due by March 15.

The scholarship selection committee will reach its decision based on consideration of the following criteria: need, academic achievement, involvement in school activities, community service activities, and applicant interview.  Special consideration will be made to applicants who have been involved with the activities that promote children’s welfare in White County.  The award will be paid to the recipient’s school at the time of enrollment.

You must be a Searcy High School student to receive these scholarships. If interested in applying, please see your school guidance counselor.  Applications must be turned in to your counselor no later than March 15, 2013.
