K.C. Koala Give Health and Safety Tips to Children

unnamed (4)

K.C. Koala, the White County Medical Center mascot, recently made a surprise visit to children at Shirley’s Mother Goose Daycare and Preschool in Searcy. The nearly 30 students were excited to see K.C. in person and eagerly demonstrated the correct way to cough and sneeze into the bend of their arms as K.C. applauded for them.

As part of the hospital’s mission to create a healthy community, WCMC provides K.C. as a loveable and helpful teaching tool in educating children about eating healthy, the importance of exercising, school zone safety and proper hand washing techniques.

For more information about inviting K.C. Koala to your school, daycare or organization please contact the White County Medical Center Event Specialist at (501) 380-1050 or via email at marketing@wcmc.org.
