KATV Reports: Investigators are currently searching for a white male suspect in Shooting in White County

White County Deputies are investigating an early morning shooting.

Authorities say it happened just around 1:37 a.m. Wednesday. Deputies found one woman dead and a man critically injured at a home on Highway 167 North in Bald Knob. The man was taken to a Little Rock hospital to be treated.

White County Sheriff’s Office has identified the deceased as Crystal Timberlake of Ward and the injured party as Robert Wayne Dixon of Bald Knob.

Investigators are currently searching for a white male suspect. Benjamin Peirce of Searcy was last seen driving a gray Mitsubishi Eclipse with Arkansas license plate number 155-SCZ. Pierce is 5’11, 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
