Cabot – Icy road conditions are being blamed for an accident involving a school bus in Lonoke County Monday morning.

According to the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 7:00 a.m. on Lindulake Road in Cabot. Authorities say a school bus headed to Magness Creek school was traveling downhill, when it hit a patch of ice and slid off the road and down a shallow embankment. None of the students on the bus were injured. The driver was also unhurt.
