Keep America Beautiful’s third annual “Recycle-Bowl” is a comprehensive, nationwide recycling competition for elementary, middle and high school students.

Got game? If your school has a good, solid recycling program (or the potential to build one), set your strategy toward winning the state competition or the national grand prize.

Getting game? Schools with modest or new recycling programs can opt to focus on improvement over the course of the competition.

The deadline for registration is midnight Tuesday. Visit the Recycle-Bowl website at recycle-bowl.org to sign up. The competition runs from October 21 through November 15, culminating on America Recycles Day.

Last year Greenland High School in Northwest Arkansas won $1,000. Your school could be next! Greenland has already signed up along with Alma Middle School, Alma Intermediate School, Butterfield Trail Middle School, City Heights Elementary School, Heber Springs High School, King Elementary School, and Riverview Kensett Elementary School, Sulphur Rock Magnet School and West Fork High School.
