Local Company Adds to Little Rock Growth, Brings Ultra Rare Machinery to Central Arkansas

New fintech groups and an Amazon fulfillment center are certainly not the only growth Little Rock is seeing.

Antique Brick & Block is the most diversified masonry and outdoor supply company in this region of the country. They’re furthering the advancements already being brought to our community through their new machinery upgrade.

“Our machine in Little Rock is the seventh machine of this type ever built in the world,” said Jason Garner, the vice president of ABB.

The new machine, the Besser Servopac Block Machine, is made by the Besser Company, based in Alpena, MI. This upgrade allows the ABB team to work smarter not harder in a handoff, robotic atmosphere.

These new plant upgrades will help expand ABB’s locally produced concrete Block, retaining wall, and paver production. They’ll be able to give general contractors and design professionals a stronger product with even better finish aesthetics

“The number one thing in a plant environment is safety,” said Garner, “Our plant technicians are able to manipulate changes robotically through advanced controls. This translates into a safer work environment and a much more efficient production team.”

Antique Brick & Block, founded in 1979, is lead by company president David D. Garner. The company has come a long way from its humble ‘antique’, or used-brick, beginnings. Today, they reach across Arkansas and surrounding states distributing the finest new brick, stone, and hardscape products in the country.

The sister company, Antique Brick Outdoors, continues to provide the finest in outdoor living with the design and experience, you can trust.
