Most importantly, he as exceptional experience and the deep relationships and resources to support our efforts to revitalize the conference center and bring diversity to organizations and events,” she said.

Simpson said Baker is widely recognized as “a relationship builder” in the conference market. “He has a background in building wonderful personal and business relationships that garner trust, respect and repeat business for group sales. Our staff is excited that he will be part of our momentum to foster and develop our business model, which includes what we call ‘the three R’s’ – relationships, reinvention and revenue,” she said.

Hiring Baker is a recent move by DMC International to grow the community of Fairfield Bay and bring more business to the area. Just two months ago, the company announced that it had entered into a long-term lease with the City of Fairfield Bay and would begin management of the conference center.
