Lunch and Learn at the Faulkner County Library

The Faulkner County Library is pleased to announce a new series! Lunch and Learn comes to the library. Join us every second Monday at noon to learn something new about our amazing state. Bring a sack lunch and feed your mind.

On April 9, Dr. Emily Beahm from the Arkansas Archeological Survey will discuss Arkansas prehistory, and on May 14, Dr. Reinaldo Morales of U.C.A. will present a program on Rock Art in Arkansas.

Future programs include Faulkner County Museum director Lynita Langley Ware on historic quilts and what they say about our society and values. Margaret Cline, Master Naturalist, introduces us to Citizen Science, Kaye Clanton talks on astronomy, and Dr. Tamara Walkingstick from the Arkansas Forest Resouce Center will introduce us to Champion Trees in Arkansas, Janie Jones takes us into October with true crime in Arkansas, and Shane Lind, Museum Program Coordinator, MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History will introduce to early Arkansas military establishments to finish off the year.

All library programs are free and open to the public.
