Lyon College Theatre Department Selects Laramie Project cast

The cast has been chosen for the Lyon College theatre department’s spring production of The Laramie Project. The play is a narrative of the murder of Matthew Shepard, which provoked the passage of the Hate Crime Law. The actors will be playing more than 50 roles as an ensemble. The cast includes Tonya Clapp, Kelley Wyatt, Miracle Davis, Lauren Holt, Victor Wilson, Justin Holmes, Matthew Horne, Brian Neel, and Scott Trantham. Madison Gallagher is the stage manager. Spencer Hall is in charge of lights, and Lauren Holt will create the costumes. New adjunct faculty member William Fields will be in charge of set design and mentoring light design as well as technical direction. Performances are at 8 p.m. March 22-24 and at 2 p.m. March 25.
