Maintenance work by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on State Highway 177 (Norfork Dam) requires a lane closure, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The northbound lane closed on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 11:00 p.m. and will now continue through Monday, August 15 at 4:00 p.m. to allow the Corps of Engineers to conduct maintenance on the dam’s two power plant penstock gates.
