The Miss North Central, Miss North Central Outstanding Teen and Princess pageants will be held Saturday February 22 at the Harrison high school auditorium beginning 6:30 pm. Young ladies from the following counties are elgible to earn scholarships, prizes and a chance to compete in the Miss Arkansas Pageant in Hotsprings June 15-21st and for Outstanding teen in Russleville June 9-14. Girls must reside in the following counties: Bazter, Boone, Carroll, Fulton, Izard, Madison, Marion, Newton,Searcy, Sharp and Stone. Miss ages (17 senior- 24 yrs) and Teen ages (12 yrs to 17 (Junior) will compete in Interview, Talent, Swimsuit/Fitness and Evening Gown. There are two divisions of Princess ages 4-8 and 9-12 with no residency restrictions.
In Conjunction with the scholarship pageants, there will be a Miss NCA, pageant that serves as a fundraiser to the scholarship pageant and It will be Friday February 21st beginning at 6:30. There are 9 division from birth and up. The Winterwonderland category has 3 divisions ages 0-4 yrs 5-12 yrs abd 13 and up that will compete in casual wear, We will also be hosting our first annual “WE ARE MIRACLES” pageant. This pageant is for any younf ladie recieving special services in a life skill setting or equivalent as well as adults recieving special service from independent living or similar agency. This pageant will provide opportunity for these young ladies to shine and show the world just how beautiful they are. contestants compete in formal wear or sunday best dress. There are 3 divisions ; kg-6th; 7th-12th;& adults.
