Mountain Home Symphony Christmas Concert December 7

MOUNTAIN HOME SYMPHONY CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The Mountain Home Symphony of Mountain Home, Arkansas announces a Classic Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at the Dunbar Auditorium of Mountain Home High School at 500 Bomber Blvd. Bomber Blvd. is off Hwy. 62 at the West Creek Shopping Center.
The whole family should enjoy this concert, led by Conductor Barbara Deegan and featuring some well-known Christmas standards as well as Haydn’s Symphony Number 94 “Surprise” and a Corelli Christmas Concerto. Suggested donations are $5.00 per person. Children age 12 and under are admitted free.

The Mountain Home Symphony is a community, non-profit, orchestra consisting almost entirely of volunteer players from southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. It was founded in November 1991 for the purpose of providing performers and audiences with a venue for classical music and to provide a music education experience beyond the school classroom for local students.

A Symphony Volunteer Guild was established in October 2007. The Guild is seeking people who would like to help the Symphony with fund raising, publicity and general support.
