Multiple Agencies Take Part in Marijuana Eradication

On Monday August 2, 2010 Agents with the 20^th Judicial District Drug Crime Task Force, the Arkansas National Guard Counter Drug Unit, and the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office conducted marijuana eradication in Van Buren County. Agents recovered approximately 30 plants over the course of the afternoon from two separate locations.

At this time, the cases are still under investigation and charges are pending for the individuals involved. The agencies are continuing to engage in these eradication efforts and other flights will occur over the coming weeks.
