Museum Story Time in Batesville

Old Independence Regional Museum will continue its popular story time for toddlers and preschoolers this fall! Make plans to join us for stories and crafts. Story time begins at 10:30 a.m. and will take place on the following Fridays: September 11, September 25, October 9, October 23, November 13, and December 11.

This program is free and pre-registration is not required, but groups of five or more are asked to call ahead. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you have questions, please contact the museum at 793-2121.

Old Independence serves a 12-county area: Baxter, Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Marion, Poinsett, Sharp, Stone, White, and Woodruff. Parts of these present-day counties comprised the original Independence County in 1820s Arkansas territory.

The museum is located at 380 South 9th street, between Boswell and Vine Streets in Batesville.
