Carolyn is a folk andGospel ballad artist and her ballads she has written and/or recorded includecivil war songs, songs of Ireland, songs of the Appalachians, songs of theOzarks, Gospel songs of long ago, songs of the sea, pioneer songs, ancientsongs of love and heartbreak.
