The Traveling Blueberries deliver up atasty blend of folk, boogie, blues, old-time swing and whatever else they mightget away with. With Charlie White’s soulful guitar, Deeann’s Gillispie’s gypsyfiddle, Kathy Jensen’s boogie piano, and Gresham McMillon’s energetic dog-house bass, you may feel transported back in time to a1930’s arrel house. These well seasoned musicians met and came together asregular players of the Ozark Folk Center,but love to explore musical idioms well beyond the traditional tunes of theregion. High energy and musicianship underscore both old time sounds as well asthe band’s original songs and will have you singing and jumping up to dance.
