National Drug Take Back Day to Be Held at the KFFB Regional Health Fair on Sat

Prescription drugs are abused by our youth more than heroin, cocaine and methamphetamines combined. Not only is this a problem in Arkansas, but across the entire United States. In reaction to this increasing problem, Saturday, September 25th is National Drug Take Back Day.

Saturday, September 25th, Drug Take Back Events will be held across the nation from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for National Drug Take Back Day. The KFFB 106.1 Regional Health and Wellness Fair will be participating in this event at the Hart Center in Fairfield Bay. This Event provides a way for people to safely dispose of their expired and unused prescription medications and keep them out of the hands of our youth.

The Event in Van Buren County will be held at the Health Fair in Fairfield Bay. The Fairfield Bay Police Department will be collecting unused prescription drugs. Information on prescription drug abuse will be available.
