Winter Weather Awareness Week in Arkansas will be November 17-21, according to John Robinson, warning coordination meteorologist with the National Weather Service in North Little Rock. Robinson pointed out two important changes coming up this winter: First, Winter Weather Warnings and Advisories will be simplified.
Beginning this winter, the only winter warnings that will be issued in this part of the country are:

Blizzard Warning
Ice Storm Warning
Wind Chill Warning
