NBA Star Kobe Bryant, daughter and 3 others killed in A Helicopter crash in Calabasas California

Kobe Bryant, 41, and his daughter, Gianna, was among those killed in a helicopter crash in California on Sunday. Bryant was on a helicopter flying over Calabasas a city of 23,000 people located about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. The identities of the other passengers were not immediately released.

Bryant is survived by his wife Vanessa, and their three daughters – Natalia and Bianca, and their newborn Capri. Kobe is widely considered one of the greatest NBA players of all time.

Kobe Bean Bryant (August 23, 1978 – January 26, 2020) was an American professional basketball player. He played his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He entered the NBA directly from high school and won five NBA championships. Bryant is an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, a 12-time member of the All-Defensive team and was the NBA’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2008. Bryant is the first guard in NBA history to play at least 20 seasons.
