New Appointments Announced Within Harding University Student Life

Dr. David Collins, vice president of student life and executive vice president-elect, announced May 21 three new appointments within the University’s offices of student life, campus life and residence life.

 

Zach Neal, assistant dean of students, will assume the role of assistant vice president for student life and dean of students effective July 1. Neal has been with the University since 2006. In addition to his current responsibilities, he will provide leadership for the offices of Student Life, Residence Life and Campus Life.

 

 

Neal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and religion and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Harding University. 

 

 

Earlier this spring, Kathy Allen was appointed director of residence life following the retirement of Patty Barrett. Allen had been serving as assistant to the director since 2004. Effective June 1, Loretta Gregersen, secretary of residence life, will transition into the position of assistant director of residence life with additional responsibilities to include men’s housing assignments.
