New Art Exhibit “Deck The Halls” Hangs at Ozark Health Medical Center in Clinton

A new winter art exhibit has just been hung by the North Central Arkansas Artist League at Ozark Health Medical Center, Highway 65 South, Clinton. The new colorful art exhibit “Deck the Halls!” is free and the public is invited to view the new collection of 40 paintings which will hang through January 15th. Art is located on two levels: upstairs in the hallways near the cafeteria and downstairs in the outpatient wing.

The exhibit features original art by local artists Faye Rodgers, Clinton; Diana Foote, Holly Mt.; Yun Kim, Joyce Hubbard, and Marion Thorpe, all of Mt. View; Charlotte Rierson and Ellen Kelly, Fairfield Bay; Jan Cobb and Julie Caswell, Greers Ferry; and Joyce Hartmann of Choctaw.

There are prints, giclees, and original paintings in oils, acrylics, and watercolor, illustrating landscapes, birds, flowers, snow scenes, Santas, angels, abstract, and more. Purchase any painting at the Gift Shop. By shopping locally, buyers benefit Hospital Auxiliary projects and encourage artists to produce more art.

Artists are all members of the NCA Artist League, open to anyone who would like to learn more about art. They meet in Fairfield Bay, paint together on the first Monday of each month, and sponsor art workshops and demonstrations by outside professional artists. A free demonstration program for members and guests is held each third Monday of every month. For more information about the League, call President Alecs Long at 309-360-0275.
